Company profile

Complete business details required for review and merchant readiness.

The company profile tells Yera Connect who the merchant is, what the business sells, where the business operates, and how customers can contact the merchant.

This page is important because Yera Connect needs enough business context to review the account, support payment activity, and understand the merchant's checkout risk profile.

What merchants should add

  1. Legal company name - the registered business name.
  2. Trading name - the public brand name customers recognize.
  3. Website - the storefront or business website.
  4. Country - the country where the merchant operates.
  5. Business type - ecommerce, digital services, agency, marketplace, or another clear category.
  6. Contact email - the email Yera Connect can use for account notices.
  7. Support contact - the email customers can use for order or payment support.
  8. Business description - a plain explanation of what the business sells and who it serves.
  9. Store URL - the WooCommerce store or hosted storefront URL if different from the company website.
  10. Customer support policy - useful for disputes, refunds, and payment questions.

Why it matters

Yera Connect uses this information for merchant review, account readiness, risk checks, support context, and settlement setup.

Clear company details also help support investigate payment issues faster. If a payment session, transaction, or webhook fails, support can match the event to the correct business and store.

How to write the business description

Write the description in simple business language.

Include:

  1. What the business sells.
  2. Whether products are physical, digital, services, subscriptions, or custom work.
  3. Main customer type.
  4. Main sales channels, such as WooCommerce, payment links, or direct checkout.
  5. Refund or delivery expectations if relevant.

Example:

We sell skincare products through our WooCommerce store. Customers order physical products online and we ship them within 3 business days. We use Yera Connect to accept checkout payments and receive settlement in USDC Polygon.

Common issues

Account review may be delayed if the website is missing, the business type is unclear, contact details are wrong, or the company description does not explain what the merchant sells.
